This morning i received an sms and i fliped through the papers and saw 5 familiar faces on 联合早报--爆米花 section. Haha. 4 of my councillors were featured in the newspaper!
It was on their work attachment. Haha! Qing Wei told me before that they were interviewed by 爆米花 when he was @ NUS Law Faculty. I didnt know Yue An (Zoo) and Cancer Care was also featured. Haha.
Quite interesting. The reported things are also very funny because we know what they did. LOL. I shall not 爆料. =P

Haha. I know this is a LONG OVERDUE post but on 1 Dec 2008 (Monday), we sent JAMIE and YIDA OFF TO OBS INDIA! Both of you must take care hor! From today to the day you come back will be 8 more days!
Please look after each other and ENJOY YOURSELF too. Haha.
We will pray that nothing will happen over there and everyone is starting to miss both of you le. 8 days quickly pass bah. Haha.

today was quite a WAITING DAY for me! Haha. morning had Service Learning Seminar... well.... part two was quite interesting.. haha... but i thought the whole day's programme could hav been better spent. oh well, when we were in LT2, it was quite interesting though! Haha.

den frm 11am waited until like 3.10pm meet Mr Tan for SLD stuff den 3.30pm run to Interview waiting room. Haha. April & Julia were there. Julia's expression was very funny la! Tense until like =S LOL. Relax man =P so jus talk talk.. den one by one got called into the interview room.. I WAS THE LAST CAN!! rar! But then i thought this interview like some chit-chat session with Ms Loh. Haha.

Thanks Ms Loh for the encouragement and your tips! Hmm, probably i wont get the work shadowing cos it was secondary in mind and Orientation was my main concern. But, it was a good experience for interview. Haha!

Yida, dont worry ya! At least we were true to Ms Loh! Haha! CC cannot lie to CC teacher =P Hehe! I believe you have done well and she can sense your sincerity! Just wait for the results lor. Haha. Most importantly is we have improved and is TRUTHFUL!

haha... the feeling of having no papers was just SO SO WONDERFUL! Can wake up later and just do anything basically. Haha. But gonna study for Phy and Chem last few papers =D after promos will be so packed - meetings with teachers, plannings and definitely OUTINGS! yeah~

so went back to sch today to have a SPRING CLEANING for COUNCIL ROOM. omg. It is SO SO CLEAN now. haha! we just cleared and dumped all the unused stuffs and the room is so much spacious and THERE IS FRESH AIR!! Thanks to, jamie, april, pynx, elysia, chiwei, zhiyuan, candhira, chunleong and ME! WAKAKAKA! SO PROUD! NO SHOES ALLOWED IN COUNCIL ROOM FROM NOW! =D oh ya, Logistics Room oso cleaned. Tsk tsk tsk. All under 3hrs+! Woo! ~~(not only are we excellent chair movers, we are also excellent "cleaners"? =P)~~

Ha! And ya, i can really say that council is our sweat and blood! 我们的血汗！and this is the evidence.

Friends advised Yeo Ken How, a Secondary 4 student of Bedok South Secondary School, not to take the risk but he did not listen.

Yesterday afternoon, the first day of the one-week school break, he sneaked a drive in his brother's Suzuki Swift.

Before i left house this morning @ around 7.15am, i saw this SHOCKING news! First i saw the picture, then i saw BEDOK SOUTH SECONDARY SCHOOL and finally i saw YEO KEN HOW.

It came to a shock cos i didnt noe that he DRIVES and he is one of my Infocomm Club member! Haiz. This is so not a good Teachers' Day present la. I just cant help it but feel a sense of pity cos in just one or two months time, ITS O LEVELS already! What can be so important than scoring well for O LEVELS and move on in life??

Now i understand why, YEAR in YEAR out, before EVERY SINGLE term break, teachers will HAVE TO go on stage and deliver the "SPEECH OF DETERRENCE", especially the very last morning assembly before school closes. Every time, its about behaving ourselves in public cos we are holding the image of BDS, its about being self-disciplined when there is no teachers around to guide us, its about taking GOOD CARE of oneself and friends cos we still have a long journey ahead, its about ... (MANY MANY OTHER THINGS). The things that are repeatedly emphasized and RE-EMPHASIZED and RE-RE-EMPHASIZED are often "ONE EAR IN, ONE EAR OUT"! or they just CHOOSE TO SHUT OFF and TALK TO THEIR FRIENDS! When will they ever learn that it is very important to listen to all these "NAGGINGS"? 忠言逆耳! They just DONT! When will they ever learn that LIFE IS SO SO SO PRECIOUS that MONEY CAN NEVER EVER BUY? Most probably they KNOW, but they CHOOSE TO IGNORE.

To all my BDS JUNIORS:
Constant reminders (a.k.a NAGGINGS) are always VERY BORING! But, one thing is for SURE, OUR TEACHERS (or whoever it is that CARE SO MUCH FOR US) do things WITH A PURPOSE. Every single WORD they say out, has a PURPOSE. Every single ACTION they make, has a PURPOSE. Every single MOVE they take, has a PURPOSE. And what is this "PURPOSE"? TO TEACH US, LOOK AFTER US, KEEP US SAFE AND SOUND TILL THE VERY DAY WE TAKE IN OUR LAST BREATH and GO. So if you think it is a HELL LOT OF BULLSHIT and CRAP, THINK AGAIN. Is it worth it to go against all the RULES and REGULATIONS set out, just for the FUN OF IT? If you answer is maybe then THINK HARD - Is it WORTH IT to RUIN YOUR FUTURE (in this case GIVE UP YOUR LIFE) for the so called FUN and EXCITEMENT?

I really HOPE you guys APPRECIATE ALL THE THINGS THAT the TEACHERS in BDS do for you all. From what i have gathered from my friends in other schools, i can safely say, THERE IS NO OTHER SCHOOLS (or maybe VERY LITTLE schools) THAT WILL LOOK AFTER EVERY SINGLE STUDENT! FOR ONE, i noe now (in JC) i dont get such TREATMENT ANYMORE. You all have to understand that what the school do, is ALWAYS for the BENEFIT OF THE STUDENTS. So if you think the school's system is REALLY VERY VERY RIGID and TOUGH, perhaps you would like to go out there and BREATHE the air of other schools and compare it with BDS. I can guarantee, BDS IS ONE OF THE FEW SCHOOLS THAT TAKE STUDENTS INTO THEIR HANDS SO MUCH! We are like BABIES to the TEACHERS, ASSETS to the SCHOOL. SO, PLEASE APPRECIATE WHAT THE SCHOOL DOES and ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR TEACHERS for ALL THE HARD WORK THEY HAVE PUT IN, ALL THE CARE AND CONCERN THEY HAVE SHOWER UPON YOU, ALL THE TINY LITTLE THINGS THEY DO, becos THEY LOVE YOU and THEY CARE FOR YOU. Dont regret only after you have left the school. By the time you turn back and say, "Hey! Why didnt i listen to my teachers earlier? Why didnt i treat them better? Why....." it will just be TOO TOO LATE.

Do reflect on your journey thus far in BDS, no matter you are SEC 1 or SEC 4/5. One thing never change, and that is THE CULTURE OF THE SCHOOL (ICARE).

I like BDS for the homely environment. I like BDS for all the caring and loving teachers. I like BDS for the fun-loving friends and bonded class. Finally, I like BDS for I was a student of BDS and will always be.

hmm.. going to Queensway Shopping Centre in awhile...
since i haven been blogging for a VERY VERY LONG TIME...
i jus wanna ~~pen~~type down some stuffs...

for the past few weeks... my mind is blur~ and blank~
it really has been a very very TIRING period of school life...
when lectures jus drone on and on and on...
tutorials keeps flooding in non-stop...
tests are SPRINGING up everywhere...
PW deadlines to meet...
PROMOS drawing near...
it jus seem so overwhelming sumtimes...

i dunno why, recently the pple around me r feeling emo/depressed/sad/etc..
its jus so many! its jus so sucky!
(i m kind of affected too.. argh!)
i think this is really a turning point for everyone...
either we flip ourselves back..
or jus keep allowing "gravity" pull us down...

to the very special people around me:

2) Underwent an OP weeks just before Primary 4 Prelims =.=" (NOT lipo pls~) thts why i slim down and GOT OUT OF TAF CLUB! woo~

3) I actually came in 2nd for 1.6km NAPFA Run when i was a BALL! =P

4) USED to be in EM1 but dropped to EM2 in Primary 6 cos my Primary 5 MATHS - FAILED 3 MAJOR Papers (CA1, SA1, SA2) & only PASSED 1 MAJOR PAPER (CA2) with 51/100 =D

5) I know how to play the Piano... GRADE 5 leh~ but i dont look/sound like.. sad

6) ACTUALLY, I DO play sports... jus incase you think i m some NO LIFE NERD..YOU ARE RONG =P HAHA! if you wanna play BADMINTON.. come find me =D

ha! so ya.. sunday went to PC show with pohyih & april
i had GP tuition in the morning den had family lunch..
so met up with them rather later..
i tink by the time i reach suntec city was like 3pm le..
jam as hell... i went down to carpark.. cut across to convention centre..
OMG.. took me like 10min jus to wait for lift to lvl 4 =.="

nvm.. den saw them den quickly CHIONG into the hall..
cos pohyih got concert at like 5pm.. den need to leave @ 3.45pm..
machiam 45min of choosing, bargain, select and buy laptop...
was rather NERVOUS n WORRIED...

20 May 08 marks the day, WE, THE 31st Student Council ~~ELECTS~~ being sworn in as COUNCILLORS!
The BLACK and GOLD badge that we pin on our left collar now WEIGHS a lot more than the ELECT tag we have pin on our left chest.
having gone thru so many investiture b4 (sec sch till now)..
this day was a day that is totally different...
like something is MISSING yet something is ADDED ON...
it jus feel so different from past years...
i felt SADDENED YET EXCITED...
i really hope that i am up to the mark of taking the role of Vice-President >.<
cos my studies have not been up to expectation during the preparation for Invest!
so for this June Hols, i will MUG to produce the results i want for MYE!! JIA YOU!

To the 30th:
I truly appreciate all the things you have shared and taught us... the priceless values that you guys have imparted to us, the 31st, will always stay in our heart and mind. From internship to interview to council camp to elections to prest elections... i will keep in mind what you have taught me, the guidance that you have given me, the path that you have shown me and most importantly, the CARE and CONCERN you have showered on me.. I thank you all for everything, including the smallest thing like a pat on the shoulder plus "you can do it, go for it!"... it really gave me the EXTRA BOOST to strive for the best for the new batch of NYJC Councillors - the 31st! I know the lives of you guys have changed, but I hope you all will trust the 31st and you all must JIA YOU for the upcoming hurdle - A LEVELS! It is definitely not easy to let go but no matter what, ONCE A COUNCILLOR, ALWAYS A COUNCILLOR! I know you guys will pull thru this sudden change in your life BUT always keep in mind that you have run the lap for the college and its now for your successors to take over you guys to continue on the RELAY and pass on the baton to the next batch. I have not written a single Gmail to address all of you, but it will be soon. =D Haha. Well, since 20 May 2008, we have take on the role as Student Councillor... what does it mean to you? why do you still want to be a Councillor even after so many setbacks you faced? how much heavier does your shoulder weighs now? Is the councillor badge SHINING AS BRIGHT AS it is meant to be? how much does the OATH meant to you? Are you ready to light up the dark and unclear path ahead of you? Are you ready to sacrifice every single thing of you JUST for 31st and the college? THINK HARD. You dont have to answer those questions to anyone, BUT, YOURSELF. The day we pin on the Councillor badge (21 May 08, 7.34am), the heart of 31st STARTS beating... i hope this beat will never die down during our term as the 31st.. the beat shall only be LOUDER and REVERBERATE the ENTIRE NYJC! I know its the start of a new chapter in your life. A new blank page. How are you going to fill up this page, depends on you! I wanna thank the EXCO for taking up the challenge to steer the boat and also the REST OF THE 31st for taking up the challenge to MOVE THE BOAT! JIA YOU 31st! HELLO EVERYONE!! TGIF (thank god its friday) ... haha... FINALLY CAN REST!
hav been mugging, designing (campaign poster) and DOZING off the whole week...
finally there is a BREAK!! phew...

hmmm...i tink i shall update bt COUNCIL CAMP (4 Apr to 6 Apr)..
haha... since ITS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK! well.. LAST WEEK.. lol
i tink i shall jus rite about MY REFLECTIONS and not the PROCEDURE of the events..
it doesnt matter too... its wad i hav learnt =D

at first it was quite diff to accept the fact tht the USUAL CHEEKY and CLOWN faces are being WIPED OFF the 30th.. everyone carried a STRAIGHT FACE and were strict...
BUT, i noe the 30th is putting in their best to mould us into the FUTURE 31st...
all the nominees were constantly being SCREAMED at... SCOLDED... PUNISHED...
it was definitely not easy to sync in to the mood until later in the nite...
Council Camp really reminded me of my NPCC Camps during SEC 1...
it was so "REGIMENTAL" and the SHARP and CLEAR RESPONSE really bring me back to my NPCC days... (which somehow i HATED but also REGRETED for quiting)

having SURVIVED thru the ENTIRE COUNCIL CAMP without falling out for even once...
i think its one of the BIGGEST achievement for me...
during my NPCC days... i will be trying to think of ways and means to FALL OUT (act one)..
BUT.. for this Council Camp.. i actually MANAGED to HANG IN THERE...
i guess last time i wasnt quite sure of my goal.. but now...
I AM VERY SURE I WANT TO GET INTO THE 31ST COUNCIL...
thts why i PRESSED on... (sumhow NPCC trained me well for this =P)

however, to those who had fall out...
WE UNDERSTAND THAT YOU GUYS WANT TO GO THRU THE SAME THING WITH US...
BUT.. WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT IS YOUR HEALTH! WE DONT BLAME YOU...
SO DONT FEEL INFERIOR... KNOW OUR LIMITS.. AND THTS WHAT MAKES THE 31ST UNIQUE! (this is especially so to those that keep blaming themselves for not being able to be punished together... REMEMBER you guys actually ASKED FOR PERMISSION TO JOIN IN... but its jus too dangerous to risk your health.. we will understand FRIENDS.. ITS ALRITE =D)

the boys had work out for 3 diff stations - Chin Ups, Sit-Ups and SBJ..
wha.. ITS LIKE THE 3 WORST STATIONS for me la.. haha
Chin Ups did 4 (but with Mr Lee's help..i tink i can onli do 2 without help >.<)
Sit-Ups did 34! (gosh... 10 more to go! crap)
SBJ jus practice jumping...

but i really like the session today.. haha... SWIMMING IS SO NICE!

its about GIRLS becoming very bad... n its very hurting to see such situation...
girls are joining GANGS, getting into FIGHTS, SEX, DRUGS, SMOKING and even SELF-MUTILATION...
this is very bad... and wad is shocking is tht MOST are from INTACT FAMILIES!!
the next shocking thing is tht such incidents are MORE THAN BOY! =S
more girls are being ordered as BEYOND PARENTAL CONTROL..

its quite sad lor...
their parents mus hav felt so helpless and hopeless....
i dunno wad these youngsters are tinking of...
but i feel tht they shouldnt waste their life like tht...
there are so much wonderful things to do out there....
should really treasure all the opportunities available at this age...
hopefully these youngsters will see the LIGHT and turn back...
how nice would it be if there are no gangs?
and tht youngsters like us are more sensible?
wouldnt there world is a MUCH BETTER place?

haha! luckily WE DIDNT CRY IN VAIN (for Facils)... haha... DAY 2 of LEVEL CAMP was a WHOLE NEW EXPERIENCE... and i m glad tht i took the first move to DO THE TRUST FALL! tht moment turned the whole situation around for my CT! before tht i was still holding back and thinking of wad happened on DAY 1... which hindered my process in bringing the whole CT up... SORRY ABOUT THT! but I AM VERY VERY PLEASED that I DID IT! and after tht I REALLY OPEN UP TO THEM! AND MY CLASS DID! THANKS 0810 FOR HAVING FAITH IN ME UNTIL THE END. AND I TOO TRUST U GUYS! MUS JIA YOU!

wha... the final debrief was GREAT.. haha... i really poured out how i felt thruout the whole workshop and really FELT COMFORTED and TOUCHED by my CT mates!! i tink this is really a very EXPERIENTIAL training i have been thru... the UNITED-NESS of ALL the FACILS (staff, alumni and J1s)

some unforgetable moments:
1. training together on Sat and Sun (1, 2 March 08)
2. trust falling into the arms of FRIENDS
3. motivating each other for the SPIDER WEB (travelling thru time)
4. CELEBRATING (mass dance and cheering and trible and etc) aft the end of DAY 2 training
5. 100% committed to complete the training for the J1s
6. CRYING together on DAY 1 of Level Camp
7. HUGGING MY FRIENDS AFTER THE END OF THE WHOLE TRAINING AND LEVEL CAMP!

all these moments are really special to me... and THANK YOU ALL FOR GIVING ME THIS EXPERIENCE!!!

Macs was CROWDED with NYJCians! haha.. den tht PohYih wanted to "NANYANG OI".. lol.. lame-ed... den saw Teletubs and Ah Hao.. we stalked them into the Tao Huey shop.. den saw 29th SC, Mr Lim, Mr Tan and Mr Wayne and Keqing with frens... DAMN COLD la tht shop.. den aft tht Teletubs n Ah Hao went to Macs..lol.. EUGENE bought sundae and pie! haha.. opps... den i decided to sit with amanda and pui yong... cos tht pohyih went crazy with them.. haha... (i don noe him XD) ... n den it was last few hrs of Amanda's bdae.. so jus PEI her lor.. haha.. co-incidentally one.. =D.. yeah.. den reached home at 11.30pm.. LOL!! late late late

6 MARCH 2008: MARKS A HISTORY IN MY LIFE - I CRIED (5yrs since i last cried)

today had LEVEL CAMP 2008 for ALL NYJC J1 students... n it was really a disappointment to ALL FACILITATORS (be it J1s, Alumni or Staff)... we all BROKE DOWN when the TRAINING WAS PUT TO A HALT suddenly... the Trainer had to SEND ALL THE J1s HOME!

i feel very very sad and disappointed la... cos my CT just dont see the NEED or PURPOSE of the whole training... all they thot was PLAY GAMES... i opened up to them but yet... they dont be truthful to me... really feel very helpless at some moment of the training.... but I KEPT THINKING.... AM I GOING TO ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN WITHIN MY CLASS FOR 2YRS... den i felt it was NOT WORTH IT.... SO I GAVE IN 100%.... YET! THEY STILL KEPT THINKING IT WAS ALL ABOUT FUN AND GAMES! and when the trainer told ALL OF THEM TO LEAVE THE HALL AND GO HOME, SOME OF THEM ACTUALLY CELEBRATED!

that scene really made my heart SANK deeper in... wad went thru my mind was "how is it possible for them to CELEBRATE when they are being sent home without completing the whole training?" at tht moment i felt that their goals were not very clear. Cos IF THEIR GOALS WERE CLEAR... they would hav felt WASTED! and i believe tht scene really WRINGED THE HEARTS OUT OF ALL THE FACILITATORS! WE ALL JUS BROKE DOWN DURING OUR FACIL DEBRIEF!

BUT ITS ALRITE FACILS! WE HAVE WENT THROUGH THE TRAINING! WE MUS B RESILIENT! ITS OKAY! ITS ALRITE! FACILS FACILS FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT! 大家加油！

already finish with my Council Interview... i tink me, Qing Wei and Jessica took the longest among the first batch of nominees (6pm to 6.30pm)... had Mr Tonny Lim, Chu Yi, Yong Cheng, Tze Kai as the panel...
phew... felt relieved to have Tze Kai in there.. AT LEAST A FAMILIAR WELFARE COUNCILLOR! haha...

i tink i did well.. Qing Wei's response were quite good i can say... then Jessica was not bad too... ALL THE BEST TO THE THREE OF US =D and also to ALL COUNCIL NOMINEES!! especially PohYih, Julia, April, ZhiYuan, Samantha, Pamela, Amanda, Jamie, Stevenn, KuangWen, Michelle, YueAn, LiLan.. well... this weekend i spent my life in school mostly... 8am to 7pm (ard there) haha... had Level Camp Facil Workshop for the 2 days... LEARN REALLY REALLY A LOT of things thruout this 2 days... i m so gonna recommend to BDS to engage this company for level camp man... THIS WORKSHOP REALLY ALLOWED ME TO LEARN WHAT I REALLY WANTED... WAD I REALLY CAN DO... AND WILL DO!

i believe every level camp facil now noes EXACTLY what our own goals are now.. and is DETERMINED to ACHIEVE it no matter what...

yesterday's workshop was not really effective and 2day all the facils had to come together and RE-THINK our purpose for being in the workshop... and we made a COMMITMENT to it... and tht can be felt thruout the whole ISPACE!

every single one TRUSTED their BUDDY and TEAM... and we CAN MAKE a DIFFERENCE to the entire thing... the closing of the workshop was GREAT...

at the end of the whole workshop.. everyone was SO DAMN HIGH!! i really can feel the ENTHUSIASM and COMMITMENT that every Facils have put in.. no matter Alumni or J1s.. WE ALL WENT TO THE WORKSHOP for ONE REASON - BOND EVERYONE AS ONE NANYANG!

the workshop closed with the trainer playing FRIENDS by Michael W Smith.. the song is really very touching.. for the FIRST TIME in my life... i actually OPEN UP myself and went ahead and HUG MY BUDDY!

I REALLY CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR BELIEVING IN ME (especially during the Fall). I was really quite afraid that you will fall off BUT I WILL NEVER ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN! today was NY's PW Festival for all JC1 students... called LIVE! PW... haha... quite interesting la... learn a lot of things about PW (an examinable subject).. in between the day was filled with "EXCITEMENT" and "HIGH ADRENALINE RUSH".. haha... onli me, pohyih, chiwei, jamie and rachel understands... haha.... shant elaborate on tht =X... LOL!! make my heart pump so fast during tht 30min... haha... siao! den for the last part of the PW Fest... we had a mini brainstorming session about diff stuff... our grp did on "HOW TO CURB INTERNET ADDICTION?"

the following are some of the interesting "IDEAS" we thought of:
charge wireless / internet bills by PER HOUR billing
remove the cooling fans in CPU and Laptops
increase the price of wireless-enabled device (PDA, laptops)
remove the chairs that we are sitting on (this will tire us and not wanna use the com anymore)
... if ALL ELSE FAILS -- DISABLE THE INTERNET!! =P

yoyo! just came home from GP tuition.... really gotta admit i really never read enough newspaper.. =X most of the essay questions i got STUNNED! haha... really need to read up loh.... XD.. den met one of Tao Nan fren.. he remembered me and i remembered him.. HAHAH... so cool rite... ok~..

rite... so yesterday had mass lectures and stuff... during breaks went up to hall to slack... mass dance.. blablabla... den aft sch went to Council Room do beads... there were onli - me, poh yih, julia, april, bao zhu and yilong...the afternoon was torturous.. haha... i was doing the beads while dozing off!! hahaha.... like zombie meddling with beads... but i still managed to complete it.. haha... den aft i finish the first round.. i wanted to stretch myself.. so started to walk around the room... and i realise.. I AM STUCK!! instead of WALKING... i had to JUMP and SHUFFLE my legs... lol... the Council room is SO MESSY!!! (worse than BDS Prefects Room =X.. haha.. no offence councillors =P)... so i tried to be nice and pack up the place la... moved all the magazines to the doors and clear up some space for HUMAN to WALK.. haha... those items are hazards actually.. haha... now there is a "walk-about" around the tables la.. haha.... at least can walk already... gosh.. took me like 1hr to clear up 45% of the palce.. lol

den returned to the beads thingy... quite emo doing the beads.. haha... cos it requires A LOT of brain cells and concentration to piece them together.. haha.. den around evening time.. 5pm+, 6pm... some councillors came up and look for logistics for OGL workshop today... DEN MESS UP THE PLACE AGAIN... diaoz... lol... nvm nvm... so i pack up again.. haha... not very messy la... jus cannot walk properly... den javier, jian ming n eugene came up... they slack around while we did the beads.. lol.. they were waiting until 7pm for their Games briefing or sumting for O2... tok loads of crap man... haha.. when they left we continue to do... until around 8pm+, they came up again... wha.. this time round is LAME, SICK and MADNESS time la.. haha.... aft 9pm they all started to CRAP even LAMER stuffs!! haha... especially tht eugene... wha lao.... buey tahan... laugh not stop!!! then when guo hao came... EVEN worse.. wha... cannot stand them... we all crap until like 9.30pm.. haha... there were like me, poh yih, julia, april, bao zhu, javier, jian ming, guo hao, yi long n eugene in the Council Room for the whole 1hr+... onli julia, bao zhu, april and yilong were concentrating with the beads... the rest of us were like laughing at tht LAME EUGENE and GUO HAO joke... dots!!!

den we left @ 9.30pm... me, javier, jian ming, eugene, guo hao and april went to the kopitiam to eat dinner... den aft tht went home.... on the way to bus stop.. EUGENE and GUO HAO LAME AGAIN!! wha.. cannot stand... me and jian ming were like laughing non-stop... worse ting is all 4 of us take the same bus home...LOL... and the wait at the bus stop was AGONIZING.... both the wait and their lame jokes.. lol.... if this goes on... i tink can laugh until 6 pec come out...HAHAHAHA.. den reached home at around 10pm+, 11pm...

AND I CANNOT TAKE 4 H2!!! sian diao... my given subj combi is - Phy, Chem, Math H2, Econs H1.... sian diao.... ya... so thts wad happeneed yesterday... spend most of the time LAUGHING.. THANKS TO EUGENE AND GUO HAO!!! XD

whoosh!! 18 Feb 08 marks the end of PAE '08 and 30th SC Internship '08. Yeah. Last nite stayed up late to write letters XD. But only managed to write 5, sorry to other WelCo Councillors that did not receive from me. Anyway, the atmosphere in NY today was rather solemn, i guess.

Very first event @ 7.30am was our FINAL GENERAL MEETING with our 30th COUNCILLORS. It started off with a quick attendance taking and then we moved into the classroom. Thank god its Air-con room. Haha. As usual, there wasn't enough so some of the guys went to next door and dragged some in. Then, "Councillors can we stand and greet the Interns". haha. When i heard this, i told Poh Yih, "Oi! THEY STEAL OUR TIME AGAIN!" then Poh Yih went, "Interns STAND! 1! 2! 3! ~~~ GOOD MORNING COUNCILLORS!". Haha. YES! Finally we were able to greet our councillors first. Haha. Okay, you all may think its lame, but ITS OUR LAST MEETING WITH THE 30TH, we should take the initiative (for the first and last time) to greet our Seniors =D.

Then, Chu Xian (V-Chair) started the ball rolling by giving a short intro speech, then passed on to SK for his comment on the INTERN EVENTS. Haha. Well, comments were mostly positive. Haha. Congrats CC for the relatively large amount of profit earned =D. Overall, we did well i guess. haha. THTS GREAT man! Then, we were waiting for our certs to be ready so got 1 rep from each Comm to say something. So our IC of Welfare Comm APRIL went up. YAY! Lol.

After which, Chu Yi (Chair) and Jian Ming (G. Sect) came in with the CERTS! yay! So each Comm Heads presented the CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION to their Comm Interns. Of cos, WELCO receive from JAVIER la! Haha. Mentor presenting to Mentee~ AND I FELT SO 自卑 can. Stand beside Javier is like a DUSTBIN beside a STREET LAMP XD. If you get what i meant. Lol. NEXT UP! Presentation of CERTIFICATE OF COMMENDATION - to the Most Outstanding Intern of each Comm =D. Well, it is as follows, CIB - Steven, CC - Jamie and WELCO - Chun Fui (YAY!) XD. Haha. Then now is Jian Ming present to us, SO I FELT BETTER! Cos both of us are of same height. Haha (no offence JM). Ya, so the 3 of us have to deliver a short "speech". AND NOW, I WANT TO APOLOGISE TO MY FELLOW INTERNS OF WELFARE COMMITTEE! I MISSED YOU GUYS OUT IN IT! TERRIBLY SORRY. I shall add on here! (the following is my original and ADD-ONS =P)

Thank You to ALL WELFARE COMMITTEE COUNCILLORS for the guidance and support that you have given to US. Especially my Mentor - Javier for staying up late just to vett through our Proposals, even when he is damn tired. Bao Zhu too, for her support in the proposals! Of cos to the rest of the WELFARE COUNCILLORS, thanks for all the unwavering support! LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST, THANK YOU TO ALL MY FELLOW WELCO INTERNS! Without you guys, the Amazing Race would not have been such a success. And without you guys, I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CARRY OUT MY TASK and get the commendation. Then some sharing by councillors then PHOTO-TAKING! Yay! haha. Then OUR TURN! Me, Poh Yih, Julia and April's hardwork - PERSONALISED GLASS! Haha. Then lessons were normal la. Lectures were quite empty. Seminars were quite empty too. Haha. SOLEMN feeling man. SIAN mood is the atmosphere. All the tutors last few words were similar, "Whether you are staying in NY or going to other colleges or poly, we wish you all the best! For those who are staying in NY, we will see each other again!" 95% of the time is similar, even CHIENSE LESSON. Haiz.

Oh ya. I realised I am posted to SRJC le! SIAN 3/4! Just happen to log into SRJC portal, and it shows "SRJC.........WELCOME YONG CHUN FUI". SIAN 7/8 lor! Momentarily got STUNNED when i saw that i can login. I shall wait for tmr's confirmation @ 8am. =( but in any case, thanks Julia and Poh Yih for what you have said to me =D. I WILL APPEAL DE! Hopefully can get in! PRAY HARD! WE MUST ALL JIA YOU!!

yoyoyo! jus came home frm sch!! lol.. mus b tinking i m nuts rite XD well... Council organised a movie marathon.. so as ENTHU INTERNS... WE MUS SUPPORT =D.. muahahah... so from Welfare Comm the enthu Interns consists of ME, POH YIH, JULIA, RJ, KUANG WEN & GUOJUN... haha.... den Zhi Yuan went oso.... movies were Star Dust and One Missed Call (Jap version).. haha... not bad la... but some parts lame de lor.. lol.. and ONE MISSED CALL (ANGMOH VERSION) COPY JAPAN VERSION almost 90%!! i can predict wad happen lor.. lol.. diaoz...

so in the afternoon.. nth to do so went to SC Room help Welfare Councils SORT BEADS!! my god... eyes almost "WHACK BIRD".. haha.. BUT ITS OKAY... me and poh yih were "meditating" outside the SC Room while the others are sorting inside the Room.. haha.... BUT WE COMPLETED IT MAN!!! our meditation skills are GREAT... we "level up" fast.. lol... so yesterday went to NY for CNY celebration and then to BDS to visit the teachers... haha... all went well.. haha.. then celebrated 2 teachers bdae.. then went for lunch @ TM... as usual la... took so damn long to decide where to eat... lol.. so me, ziming and chin chye went to century sq for lunch... aft tht met up with the rest.. den zao home...

hmm... nth much bt yesterday la.. lol... today gonna go grandma hse and some other places to bai nian bah....

oh ya... yesterday had another disappointment.. i am not chosen for OGL for O2 =(.. becos of my L1R5 i guess... haiz... a lot of my frens oso didnt get it... onli for those who confirm can get in NY then kena chosen... sad.... this is the 2nd disappointment of this yr.. oh well... its alrite... WE WILL B NORMAL FRESHMEN.. haha.... jus hope to get into NY for JAE... i dont wan to hav a 3rd disappointment....

haha... yesterday was quite normal lor... lectures and sems are as usual... i tink my sem class would agree that chem sem was more "exciting" =P.. haha... shant elaborate... see hiang n zhi yuan noes well.. MUAHAHAH!!! alrite... so.. PE had Captains Ball (in pail??) lol... weird but fun game.. LOL...

got my new INTERN TEE loh... was quite a disappointment though, ITS NOT LIME GREEN AT ALL LA!!!! but ITS OKAY!!... WE ARE INTERNS no matter what!! haha... ok~~.. so JULIA, APRIL and POHYIH PON PE LA!!! i thot they will go PE then meet up later for dinner... i was "surprised" to see them sitting in canteen when my PE ended @ 5pm.. ROAR!!. nvm.. den went to Serangoon Central macs for dinner... then chiong back to sch for THE ONE!! muahah... thanks see hiang for the tix btw.. haha

Ying Xue was awesome la.. lol.. her vocals were like.. OMG!!! GREAT!! lol... very funny oso... den grp category have Javier's band (Under Construction) and KK's duat. a pity was the sound system la.. haiz... sad case... lao da's band was first and the background music is LOUDER than the vocal... dots... pple are like complaining abt the mic lor.. lol... so tht caused the band to become disorganised bah... BUT ITS ALRITE.. haha... AWESOME PERFORMANCE! haha... then KK's duat was superb too.. hehe... "lovey-dovey" man... congrats on winning the grp cat...

neway... this whole week was reviewing Proposal... editting... reviewing.. editting.. reviewing... editting... and the process repeats itself for like almost COUNTLESS time.. haha... the proposal has reached version 14 already!! haha... well... although its rather tiring.. but i guess i hav enjoyed the process.. haha... especially with the whole Welfare Comm team (be it SC or Interns).. haha.. everyone is working towards a SUCCESSFUL event! and I BELIEVE WE CAN!! muahahha...

so jus now ended lesson ard 3.30pm den slack around in canteen until like 6pm+.. den we carried out our trial for the Amazing Race... haha... I TINK WE CAN MAKE IT la.. haha.. at least we had fun.. i guess J1s should feel the same.. haha... oh ya... WE GOT 4 REGISTRATION FORMS le.. YAY!!! hahah.. its 1/3 done.. we need 8 more... some updates of my where-abouts for the past few weeks... WELL... I AM IN NANYANG JUNIOR COLLEGE now.. haha.. PAE man.... NYJC is SO DAMN COOL can.. Orientation 1 was SUPER HIGH!!! haha... gonna stay on no matter wad.. unless results like SAI la... but den WILL APPEAL!!! muahahah... feel damn attached to NYJC now man.. haha... (i noe some of u will say i nuts la.. if can go better sch dont wan la.. n blablabla)... WELL... i tink NANYANG is THE place to be in... and I WILL STAY!! =D

this two weeks had lectures, seminars and blablabla.... some are interesting... some are PLAIN LULLABYE (or rather HYNOSIS).. haha.. taking Phy, Chem, Math & Econs... ya.. common one la.. 2day had math quiz (partial fractions).. guess wad... I FLUNK =P.. lol.. first quiz and merely optained like 2/10 =P.. haha (careless and useless =x)...

27 September 2007 marks the 25th day to 'O' Level Examinations!! The clock is "TICKING"...

Anyway, today is also the "National Youth Achievement Award -Bronze & Silver Award Ceremony". About 16 of us from SEC 3 (Bronze Award) and SEC 4 (Silver Award) went to SP for the ceremony. Upon arrival, we registered at the auditorium then proceeded to our seats. From there, the Bronze and Silver Awardees got separated and how "sway" was I. I was separated again from the SEC 4s (alfresco, terence, yi wen, sean and me). Grrr.... The 4 of them were at the side seats while I was in the middle. Stuck with teacher IC from other school. =.=".

Then the ceremony started at around 3pm - the speeches and all, then it was the presentation of awards. Bronze awardees were like "WOW", we had to wait for the WHOLE LOT of bronze to be cleared before we could get out of our seats. Haha. Sean was rather hilarious. He was receiving the award directly before me and he told me, "wha, nervous leh. i scared later i fall down..." HAHAHAHA!!! What a joke. But, we merely took SECONDS to receive our recognition (from the PICTURE!!! =D). YAY! Anyway, during the waiting and all, there were some students, "supposedly" from renowned schools, utterly disgust me to no end!!!! No wish to comment on that.

After it ended, we had photo-taking with the GOH and VIPs. The SEC 3s were like HIDING behind the rest during the photoshoot for Bronze winners. Haiz. Then the SEC 4s tried to dominate the front but stood right behind the GOH and VIPs... HAHAHA!! ^^ It was a good take though. =P. Then after that was refreshments and AS TYPICAL SINGAPOREANS, > 10 packets of styrofoam boxes were taken onto the bus. (if you get wad i mean =P)... eh.. worse still, they are the sec 3s. HAHAHA. We, sec 4s, tried very hard not to associate with them. Totally KIASU. Haha. Well, it was a good experience to be there. A few seconds of glory. =). I've FINALLY ATTAINED MY SILVER... will continue for my GOLD!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!
Yesterday night was PEERFECT! At about 5pm my family reached UOB Plaza and parked our cars there. Then we took the underpass to OMB (One Marina Boulevard). Every corner we turned - RED, turn again - RED! I guess everyone was extremely PATRIOTIC then. Haha. When we "reappeared on land", we saw guys in BLUE & WHITE. The junctions at OMB was FLOODED with VEHICLES. Everyone was finding the tiny little gaps possible, to squeeze though. Anyway, we reached OMB and after registration, went up to the 21st level (Microsoft office level =D).
Guess what, RED, RED, RED and MORE RED!!! Enthu like nobody's business. So went to get our food and set out our chairs for the start of the NDP'07! There are many people there actually. 6.00pm the camera fixed their lens on the WORLD LARGEST FLOATING PLATFORM.

Well, the most anticipating segment of the parade was of course - the PARADE itself. Where all the smartly dressed Army personnels marched onto the platform led by the 35 Regimental Colours. After which the National Flag being flown past the platform by the Chinook, flanked by 4 Apache, when everyone stood at attention and sang the National Anthem with GUSTO. The feeling was really indescribable! This year's parade was really awesome. They displayed Singapore's combat capabilities, readiness and power. They "took out" all their "toys" - Apache, F-16, Super Puma, PCG speed craft, navy inflatable crafts... It is really an eye-opener.

For the Grand Finale - the FIREWORKS DISPLAY! I think this year's was the best i have ever seen. Especially the continuous burst of white flares. "Swee" is the word to describe.

That marks the end of the birthday celebration. When we looked down to the roads, the vehicles are all STUCK. None of them were moving. Then we quickly exited the building and rushed for the underpass. Surprisingly, we were STUCK!!!! JAMMED!! FLOODED WITH PEOPLE too! Haha. Everyone took their mini footstep until we got to the other end of the underpass. Finally, we "resurfaced" once again and headed for the carpark.

Dinner for the night was Korean BBQ food. My family went to the Korean BBQ restaurent at ECP for dinner. The kimchii and everything there is "shiok"! Well, all of them are spicy & sour, which was quite appetizing though. Haha. Nice. Nice. =D However, the bill was a BOMB!! One bowl of rice cost S$2.00. We almost got a shock of our life. Haha. Meat was S$40.00+. Omg. The only thing that is cheap was the veggies. Free flow and nice. Haha. Next time, we shall just eat "grass" and "leaves". =P

After dinner, while waiting for everyone to ease themselves, i "found" this 10 yr old boy, playing with the electric "carrier". =.=" haha. He is so BORED. LOL.

DEAD AFTER 8hrs ON LAPTOP

Her story is a painful but apt lesson for us as we take a break this May Day: Work hard, but take care of your health.

That lesson came too late for Ms May Leong, who died on 23 Apr. Just two days before her death, she had written in her blog: "I don't wanna end up dead for the sake of dough".

Her mum and some friends believe she was stressed out from work. Going by her blog entry dated 21 Apr - her only entry this year - her job seemed demanding.

And she was clearly struggling to cope with the workload. Just before she died, Ms Leong, who would have been 29 this month, had been working on her laptop for eight straight hours, said her mother.

Although the cause of death can't be confirmed for now, family members believe she died from pulmonary embolism caused by deep vein thrombosis. This is a condition that can strike when someone has been inactive for a long period of time, like sitting in one position.

She had a dream: To take her mother abroad for a holiday. Friends and family said she was bent on earning enough to realise that dream for Madam Lim Mui Mui, 54, who works as a packer for a supermarket chain here.

That is why Ms Leong continued to hold on to her job, despite being stressed by it.

Said her friend, Mr Li Kaiyan, 25, a civil engineering student at the National University of Singapore: "She told us before she blogged her last entry that she was overworked and stressed out.

"We hardly had time to chat on the Internet since she started this job about two months ago."

Ms Leong, a support manager, was thrilled to "finally have the chance to 'fly high' in a Fortune 500 MNC", she wrote in her blog.

So much so that it was "ok for me to wake at 3.30am to start work @ 4.30am everyday in the morning" as she was dealing with New Zealand partners.

"But never did I realise what kind of stuff (would be) coming towards me..." she wrote.

"What I face everyday as a partner support manager is having more than 100 e-mails per day.

DEEP VEIN THROMBOSIS

A National University Hospital spokesman confirmed that Ms Leong was taken to its A&E department on 23 Apr at around 8pm.

She could not confirm the cause of death as it is now a coroner's case.

Ms Pamela Wong, 29, who was Ms Leong's best friend for 21 years, believes that it was deep vein thrombosis which killed her. She said doctors had told family members that Ms Leong had a blood clot in her legs.

"Her family members told me that when she tried to stand up, the blood clot actually shot to her heart causing her to collapse," she said.

Ms Wong added that since Ms Leong fell down two weeks ago, she hadn't been feeling well.

Ms Leong wrote in her blog: "I've got myself sick these few days. Had diarrhoea last Thursday (19 Apr), hurt my knee and was limping badly since last Sunday (15 Apr), had breathlessness since Wednesday (18 Apr) and fainted after work on that day at my office lift lobby, knocked my head against the wall when I fainted, collapsed again last night at home."

Madam Lim said her daughter had been very sick since Friday.

Ms Leong wrote in her blog: "Now my chest feels really tight & breathing is really tough. "Getting up & walk, I just feel like I'm carrying a heavy baggage of few hundred kilos & I'll start to feel really weak & dizzy."

Mr Li said: "According to her mother, before she collapsed, she had been working non-stop for eight hours with the laptop on her lap, replying to e-mail and work-related stuff."

MS May Leong's mother called Ms Pamela Wong in a panic at around 7pm last Monday. Ms Leong had collapsed and she was having great difficulty breathing.

Said Ms Wong: "I used to live in the nearby block to her flat. But since I got married, I have moved. So I could not rush down. I called my parents and asked them to rush there first."

While her parents were on the way to Ms Leong's flat, they called her mother to ask if they should call a doctor or an ambulance.

"She asked for an ambulance," said Ms Wong. When her parents arrived at the flat, her father saw Ms Leong on the sofa "gasping for breath".

"He also saw a huge bruise on her leg," said Ms Wong. Ms Leong's mother was frantic, but there was little anyone could except wait for the ambulance.

By the time Ms Leong arrived at the National University Hospital at about 8pm, her condition was critical. Not long after that, she died.

Listen to your body or you may regret it

Deep vein thrombosis refers to the formation of a blood clot within a deep vein, commonly in the thigh or calf.

Some risk factors include being over 60 years old, overweight and being inactive for a long period of time.

If the clot partially or completely blocks the flow of blood through the vein, blood begins to pool and build up below the site.

Chronic swelling and pain may develop. The valves in the blood vessels may be damaged. Or if the clot breaks free and travels through the veins, it can reach the lungs, where it is called a pulmonary embolism (PE).

This is a potentially fatal condition that can kill within hours. To prevent DVT, you should frequently exercise your lower leg muscles - every half an hour or so - if you know you'll be inactive for a long period of time.

Other than exercising your leg muscles, you should also exercise work-life balance, said Dr Clarice Hong, a consultant psychiatrist in private practice.

So happy yesterday! I FINALLY PASSED MY NAPFA!!! (sadly.. didnt hit my target though) but well, at least i overcame the UPSLOPES and DOWNSLOPES of the 2.4 route. HOWEVER, second half of the day was CRAP. I stepped on my Specs when i was changing my clothes!! And led a 3hrs life as a "blind-mice". This is the FIRST TIME i step on my $200+ SPECS.. crap... den after school quickly rush to Parkway to get it fixed. Phew...Then, yesterday was the last day of Mr Ye's "mission" in BDS. Haha. We really want to thank him for all the assistance he had given us for our Physics and Chem. WE REALLY DID IMPROVE A LOT IN PHYSICS (at least for me.. getting an A1 on the dot was like OMG! haha.. Finally i see an A1 for PHYSICS)... However, we didnt do quite well for CHEM though. Sorry bt tht. Haha. Yap, guess that marks the end of his mission in saving this bunch of 6 "drowning" science students. HAHA!

Yesterday was the school's Speech Day-cum-Learning Fiesta! Also, it is also the day that marks the end of our PROJECT WORK! I guess everyone is now more or less relax, getting prepared for the MYE and also our upcoming MT 'O' Level papers in May.

So yesterday, me and Audi (VHP) were the two student-entourage for the GOH. Guess what, we were both "raining" after 5hrs wearing the BLAZER. Haha. Fortunately it ended rather on time, with the GOH leaving earlier than others. Phew... At around 1.30pm, all the guest had already left the school so, everything ended by then. Then, my class went to CHANGI AIRPORT - Swensens for lunch. =D Not the whole class though, most of us. Ms Ng and some reached first followed by us. Well, everyone was like madly taking photos. Haha. Then came our main course followed by ice-cream. At the end of the meal, it was hysterical. Some girls shouted, "CLASS STAND!" followed by the rest... "THANK YOU MS NG". Hahahahaha! I bet everyone was looking at us. Anyway, we really want to THANK MS NG for the wonderful lunch. I think she was still recovering from her sorethroat + flu that day, and still brought all of us to SWENSENS. THANK YOU MS NG! =D

At long last, our project is finally done! I believe we took only a month to complete this. From march holidays to 14 Apr 07.

Come to think of it, the whole project was rather mind-numbing. Why? Because, we need to PERSEVERE to finish up the whole model. Our minds have to be geared towards our final destination. Of course, along the way, there were some hiccups - no mood to do, lazy to do, don't want to do. Well, WE HAVE FINALLY FINISHED THE WHOLE PROJECT! Its only left with our class presentation and Learning Fiesta presentation, which I think we will do well. =D.

No more EARLY SATURDAYS for Project, no more LAST MINUTE WORK, no more GLUEING, no more PAINTING, no more CUTTING. HAHAHA! Ultimately, we are quite happy to see our final product, as usual. Haha. YEAH!

So, MIA for quite long. Haha. Well, do I look like I have extra time to blog? Actually, I do have A BIT, but would rather spend it on other things. Haha. For the past few weeks, body not quite "tahanable", constantly falling sick. Yap, need to recover quick as Learning Fiesta is near. Again, I have to escort the GOH! Haha. How interesting... today was supposed to be the Annual Cross-Country.. den before school ended, at around 12pm, it started to drizzle... so we carried on with our lessons and dismissed at 1pm.. so i went to han wei's hse to put my bag... den darren came along becos we were going the same direction... well.. we walked in the rain to Tanah Merah MRT... how nice... tsk tsk tsk.... the sch bus stop was PACKED!... but den when bus 14 stopped at Tanah Merah bus stop... it was PACKED WITH BDSians!!! haha... den there was this uncle behind us... "MOVE IN.. MOVE IN... ya... there got space.. boy.. move in"... lol... den alighted at bedok market for lunch... den i realised... SO MANY BDSians stayed near bedok market... haha... so aft lunch, i went to han wei's hse... on the way... the rain was SO HEAVY! omg... den we crossed the road... drenched like nobody's BUSINESS! den we changed den at 2.30pm left the hse... met darren downstairs.. n guess wad...HE DIDNT BRING HIS EZ-LINK CARD!!! den hav to "brave the rain" to Bedok Reservoir... haiz... worse still... no umbrella... tht instance made me remember bt the trip to Gunung Lambak... haha... jus tht without the great "MILO POOL".. haha.. nvm.. so it was pouring at B.R too! everyone was hiding in the shelter..lol.. quite neat actually.. haha... den went to middle stage to meet teachers n prefects.. den it subsided when ms zubaidah came.. This week was short, but many things, significant things, did happened over these 3-days of school. I am just puzzled with people who have attitude problems. They just do not see things the correct way. Generally, they feel that others are in the wrong, when THEY are suppose to be the one! I just do not understand WHY?! The events that happened are actually insignificantly-significant. Some of them are just so immature that they like to annoy others. And when they are being "annoyed" by us, they become FED UP. I mean what is the problem with these people?! THEY CAN ANNOY OTHERS, BUT OTHERS CAN'T ANNOY THEM! It is not reasonable AT ALL.

Come on people, as if "we" like to "annoy" you guys. IF YOU GUYS EVER CAN BE MATURE ENOUGH, WHO WILL EVER BE BOTHERED TO "ANNOY" YOU?! EXERCISE YOUR BRAIN CELLS PLEASE!

well, tears of joy and tears of sadness "flooded" the whole hall on tht day. top student was from 4C (wow!). haha... wad can i say??!! neway.. morning went to sch early... did duty and blabla... school was short yesterday cos.. aft assembly had chem den PE... thts all... at 10am.. all the award winners had to report.. so effectively... there is onli 1hr of chem lesson.. haha.. others were playing... not too bad.. i was like madly wishing everyone happy new year yesterday.. den most of them giv me this look -- 0.o .. haha... COME ON MAN... ITS CNY soon.. well.. i tink they kind of forgotten tht CNY is round the corner??!! nvm.. haha.. so there was the celebration... well...not too bad.. jus tht technical side has some defunctionality... unpredicted la.. so nvm... its always happens... so ended around 12.30pm... left the hall den saw raymond, darren, lin qiang and gang... all those GRADUATES basically.. haha.. so went over to wish them happy new year lor.. haha... bunch of jokers man.. =P .. dunno why they keep laughing at me.. =.=".. haha... den went home change den PARTY!! haha.. but let me wait for so long... grrr!

well CNY is tmr =D.. looking forward to collect money?? haha.. i tink some doesnt rite... need to clear PILES and PILES and TONNES of HW!!! tsk tsk tsk... so much for CNY huh... Well, has been dragging this post for quite some time already. Finally, i have time to do up a proper entry. Haha. So, just ended the most dreadful test (AMATH test). Guess what, the paper was relatively simple but was tricky though, and my teacher said "IT IS VERY DIFFICULT!". May be she is trying to scare us so that we will study huh?! Well, i got "scammed" by 2 questions and was kind of careless too. GRRR!! Can't get my full marks already =(

So, "blog proper". I believe every youth in SG will agree with me that you have thought of this before, LIFE SUX! (At least for certain time of your life, you do) Well, guess this is just part of our growing up?! -- Trees tend to sacrifice more for us, especially the O level students, your bed seems to get cooler in the nite and the SUPER 3-in-1 Company will increase in its annual revenue too. Why? Because, HOMEWORK IS UNLIMITED, LESS SLEEP and MORE COFFEE TO STAY UP LATE!!!

However, after going through this "routine" for almost 2 years already, it seems to be part of my life already. Being a YOUTH in SINGAPORE, is definitely something great too (well, look on the brighter side aways). Last November vacation, me and my friend went for a 1-month job attachment with one of the company in NUS. Let me tell you this, I WOULD RATHER STUDY ALL MY LIFE THAN TO WORK!!!! (now i understand why adults alway say, "How I wish I can be a student again.") Although we may be crashed with homework, i think YOUTH in SINGAPORE is what that keeps one another going. Put it simply, I am @ Youth.SG means I AM A YOUTH in SINGAPORE! We . (dot) SINGAPORE with our energy and drive. The passion and interest that spurs us on even when the path may not always be brightly lit. Every youth contribute to one DOT on Singapore (considering Singapore to be only a DOT on the world map, we, youths, DOT THE WHOLE SINGAPORE). Therefore, we should stop grumbling and start moving people!
